The Laws You Live By

What 'laws' or principles do you strive to live by? If you had the opportunity to create a set of 'rules' by which you may inspire others to live, what would these 'rules' be?

Mine:

1. Use common sense.

2. Recognize and respect that you are a god. Recognize and respect the god in others.

3. Do not see through any action which would bring yourself or your family disgrace.

4. Seek to always expand your understanding of a thing.

5. Strive to educate yourself in all things.

6. Recognize that you do not know everything. We are all eternal students.

7. Recognize that somewhere out there, someone is better at something than you are. Use this Knowledge as inspiration to improve.

8. Never open yourself to Self-hatred. It is the root of your undoing.

9. Repay acts of love with acts of love. Repay acts of hatred with acts of hatred.

10. Never allow yourself to be a walking mat for others.

11. Never allow yourself to be used.

12. Be mindful that the world may revolve around you, but for others, it also revolves around them.

13. Forgive an injustice twice, but never thrice.

14. Cut ties with those who poison you.

15. Never base your self-worth on the opinions of others.

16. Never lose an argument. Agree to disagree.

17. Question everything.

18. Refuse to conform.

19. Never give away your power to another person.

20. Think before you act.

John 1:15 John bare witness of him, and cried, saying, This was he of whom I spake, He that cometh after me is preferred before me: for he was before me.

John 1:16 And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace.

John 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ.

John 1:18 No man hath seen God at any time, the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

John 1:19 And this is the record of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, Who art thou?

John 1:20 And he confessed, and denied not; but confessed, I am not the Christ.

John 1:21 And they asked him, What then? Art thou Elias? And he saith, I am not. Art thou that prophet? And he answered, No.

John 1:22 Then said they unto him, Who art thou? that we may give an answer to them that sent us. What sayest thou of thyself?
